This is a first writing sample. And just the first chapter. To avoid giving too much away, the description here is brief.* After going into hiding for years, the crown prince is now supposed to claim his inheritance. His father receives a dark prophecy foretelling that he will not live much longer. Therefore, a capable young warrior is sent out to find the prince and escort him back to the capital. However, since the prince has other things on his mind than claiming his inheritance, the task proves more difficult than expected...

One small note about this story: This doesn't actually take place in Minecraft, so they are humanoid instead of their Minecraft skins. (No AI was used in this story, just my work alone.)
