Korra Waters is a college student in Republic College. She has a reputation for being a smart, quiet girl in class and dosen't socialize very often. She plays a guitar her mother gave her in 11th grade. Her father started abusing her after her parents divorced and found out she was the Avatar. Her mother lived in the South Pole with master Katara. Asami is a orphaned, quiet rich girl who isn't how every person stereotypes her to be. She's nice, selfless, giving and graceful, not like the other rich girls she knew in Highschool. Her father was sent to prison after being a equalist to stop bending rights. Her mother died from firebenders when she was little. She hates benders cause of it, but not enough to stop people from using it. She just dosen't want to hang around them. The two turn out to be roommates, and when Korra lies about being the Avatar, how will her newfound friend take it?

Korra and Asami have been happily married for 5 years. They've adopted a fourteen -year-old girl called Akemi, and she loves both of them as if she were her own flesh and blood. Waking up to Korra missing isn't unusual - she is, after all, the Avatar. She could just dissapear for days on end. She has a signal to Asami - she'll put her wedding band on Asami's finger if she's okay. However, one morning Akemi and Asami wake up to find the Avatar missing... And she didn't leave the signal. They decide to wait for three days, see if Korra comes back, but they wait for nine and Korra dosen't appear. After waiting around and doing nothing while the RCPD (Republic City Police Department) does "All they can," she takes matters into her own hands and she's off to find Korra on her own. *Set just after her battle with the Red Lotus (end of book three)* Haunted by what the Red Lotus did to her, Korra struggles to find herself again. Lost and broken she takes comfort in the hands of Miss Asami Sato. However, this time together draws to a close as Korra heads to the South Pole. Asami must rebuild Future Industries if she is to revamp her companies image. However, after Korra leaves, Asami struggles to grip onto what little meaning life has left without her Avatar. Korra isn't sure how to feel as she is thrilled to finally start her healing, but is left with a longing for her raven haired friend. Korra must fight to regain what the Red Lotus stole from her, or is she doomed to be the last Avatar. ____________________________________________________________________________________ I will most likely be editing as I go as well, just how this brain works.
