Kriss died. At least that's what she thought. Kriss is a high school graduate spending her summertime in her uncle's mansion. On her second day there she was killed in the forest behind the mansion. Was it by a human? No. Was it by an animal? No. Was it by a man from another world? Yes. It turns out that her soul was extracted from her body before dying; And the person who killed her, a man accompanied by a child, was actually citizens of Silvemna, and land which only exists in the minds of humans. It was a land filled with creatures which varies from fairies to mermaids to vampires. She was taken to the land by the Silvemnians for what reason she does not know. But the problem is, the world had just experienced war, so the place is yet to be safe. Will Kriss be able to survive in the world which was foreign to her? Or will she die a pitiful death from her lack of knowledge of the place?

America lost the Selection. Maxon hasn't seen her in years. One day on a trip to Carolina Maxon uncovers what really happened to the once amazing America Singer.

When Maxon chooses America instead of Kriss to be his wife, he sends her back to Columbia with nothing but a broken heart. At first, she hates it because people saw her as "the girl Maxon almost picked". 5 months later, a party is thrown to welcome home a professor who was away in Honduragua for a year.
