Tohru, after seeing his form, accepted it. Kyo finally was able to open up to someone, and that someone was Tohru Honda. This began the lift off the curse. After being married for 2 years, they had their first child. There was just one problem, the curse was giving a lot of final blows before it truly ended. This affected their first born, Keeta.
