Jarenlang wachten, jarenlang hopen, jarenlang verheugen, en dan is het te laat... Een verhaal over een unieke treinreis, die toch een onverwacht eind had... Dit verhaal had ik een tijdje geleden geschreven, gebaseerd op een rit die ik had gemaakt met mijn vrijwilligerswerk, de Stoom Stichting Nederland.
