But then when you turned nine...you had the unfortunate luck of moving away.. On everyone's fourteenth birthday, you get a piece of jewelry to communicate with your soulmate on. When you turned fourteen you got a ring. It was a few days before you start your freshman year at Phoenix Drop High. Who will be my soulmate? Is what you and everyone around you wonders. There were rules to this though. No one was allowed to share their name with their soulmate. They'd have to figure out whom each other was on their own. Nor is anyone allowed to speak about the conversations between them and their soulmates.

Aphmau is a mermaid in the Phoenix seas. One day, her and Katelyn are swimming through the seas and end up seeing a pirate ship. Laurence is the best pirate of Meteli who traveled all the way from Meteli to the Phoenix seas in search for the rare and beautiful mermaids.
