What happens when two young best friends get separated? Max and Charles were going to the same school, both of them being 7th graders. Max never cared about school. He was the most popular boy in school, being known for not caring about classes, yet, passing them all. Charles, on the other hand, he was a great student. Of course, he was worried about his friend. He knew that all of his luck of passing classes was going to end soon. Charles wasn't popular. He was known as the "School Freak" or "Max's pet". He didn't care about what the others said, he was glad to be around his friend, even if people hated him. Although they were two different people, they loved each other. He should have known that Pierre Gasly was in fact an envoy of the devil, because he finds himself cohabiting with Oscar Piastri, racing engineer, unbothered king and unfortunately Beatrice Serra's best friend. - "My flatmate's best friend is my former best friend AND my landlady," he yells dramatically. - "And you're not friends any more?", Carlos tries to understand, putting on his most confused expression, sitting on the terrace of a Spanish café. Charles Leclerc had always been in Max Verstappen's orbit. Long before they made it to Formula 1, Max found himself only a couple degrees of separation from Charles at all times. Whether it was passing each other between trailers at a karting track, at a banquet event for a racing group, or hearing his name in conversation with someone else. He was omnipresent and Max would never be able to escape him- an unfortunate fact considering they hated each other. i.e. Max Verstappen's enemy is now his newest neighbor (but not for long, if Max can help it)
