Fifteen years ago, four teenagers-Samuel Montgomery, William Sanders, Deandre Anderson, and Steven Evander Carter-disappeared while camping in the forest near Lake Diombra, Velnecera. A sudden storm struck. After two days of searching, only three were found. Evan Carter vanished without a trace.
Sam, Will, and Dean claimed they had become lost in the fog. Evan, the most experienced among them, had gone ahead to seek help-but he never returned.
Fifteen years later, the three receive an invitation to Evan's memorial. Will, now a celebrated writer, and Sam, a successful lawyer, return to the village of Velnecera. There, they reunite with Dean, their old friend who is now running for governor. The homecoming awakens memories of their youth-tight-knit friendship, grand dreams, and a complicated first love.
After the memorial night, strange events begin to unfold. Mysterious terror, symbols of death, and the appearance of a figure resembling Evan haunt them. Dean's trauma resurfaces. The Blood Moon myth leads the villagers to believe that wishes can come true-even the resurrection of the dead.
When Dean is found dead in the lake, the line between logic and guilt collapses. Sam and Will are forced to confront the past they buried deep.
Yet the greatest question remains:
If Evan is truly dead... who is watching them now?
And even more terrifying-
what really happened fifteen years ago in the Diombra forest?
