A florist meets a man who just wants flowers.

"What ever happened to the lilacs?" is a collection of poems of which I wrote for someone who broke my heart twice. I've had these poems in my drafts for a while now and I'd written the poems out of love and affection but I got screwed over - again. So, I decided to post them for the sake of it.

Hope and distrust in another Michigan Spring

Beauty of nature has always fascinated me more than anything. I scribbled some of my thoughts as poetry . ( P.S. - poems are written in free verse)

Running through fields filled with lilacs,her pale feet blended with the flowers lavender color her white nightgown flowing into the night her laugh echoing through the stars,I loved her I always had but deep down I knew that I'd lose her

Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect? You see, it's a metaphor and people use it to help explain the large consequences, caused by little changes. "the flutter of a butterflies wings on one side of the world, may have the power to create a hurricane on the other side." In this story, it's not a butterfly that causes a great change in two peoples lives. In this story, it's a blue bird, who made a single wrong flap of its wings, and nearly lost one. If it hadn't been for William, a 17 year old boy, who happened to be passing by just as the blue bird injured it's wing and picked her up. If it hadn't happened outside an old shoe shop, and if it hadn't been fore the old lady, who sent William to Celestine, a 17 year old girl. I wouldn't be here talking to you about the butterfly effect. ~*~
