"What ever happened to the lilacs?" is a collection of poems of which I wrote for someone who broke my heart twice. I've had these poems in my drafts for a while now and I'd written the poems out of love and affection but I got screwed over - again. So, I decided to post them for the sake of it.

I was alone with the memory of that car that wouldn't slow down, a car that should've slowed down. I was alone with him...or at least... what was left of them.

One flower garden. One allergy prone, whiny sixteen year-old boy. Things are bound to not go well. When Will is forced to take his grandma to the Lilac Gardens despite his allergies, he expects the day to be the worst in his life. That is, until he meets Erica, the sweet and pretty girl working at the lilac stand. Maybe things won't go as bad as Will thought.

When the three are thrown together, they start to unravel a secret that goes far deeper than the disappearance of Ryker Wyndon. Join them as they travel through distant lands and team up with some questionable individuals as they figure out just what was going on in their not so small world.

Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect? You see, it's a metaphor and people use it to help explain the large consequences, caused by little changes. "the flutter of a butterflies wings on one side of the world, may have the power to create a hurricane on the other side." In this story, it's not a butterfly that causes a great change in two peoples lives. In this story, it's a blue bird, who made a single wrong flap of its wings, and nearly lost one. If it hadn't been for William, a 17 year old boy, who happened to be passing by just as the blue bird injured it's wing and picked her up. If it hadn't happened outside an old shoe shop, and if it hadn't been fore the old lady, who sent William to Celestine, a 17 year old girl. I wouldn't be here talking to you about the butterfly effect. ~*~
