While wandering without a purpose, Dark Link meets the one person most like him in the world: the Snow Maiden. Meanwhile, Link is sent to save a usually warm village from a curse of seemingly endless winter. When Dark Link's obsession with the Snow Maiden interferes with Link's quest to save the lives of the village, Link will have to rediscover the definition of murder.

This book stars Link and the Champions messing around in a group chat on Sheikah Slates. The timeline takes place one year before the Calamity, though I will incorporate a few creative elements that aren't necessarily linked to the actual timeline. This is an alternate change/AU in the Tears of the Kingdom story/game that we play through. Instead of Princess Zelda returning back to her mortal self at the end after defeating Ganondorf, it'll happen in the middle of Link's journey to save his princess along with Hyrule. This story will NOT be the exact same of the game of how it plays out, but will be some similarities. This story will take place after Link gains each of the Sages, and nearly finish examining the Geoglyphs that Impa and Purah wanted him to check out. With gaining help from the Princess before facing Ganondorf, the Sages plus Link will end Ganondorf's evil ruling. There will be my own twists like Zelda still being able to use the Time abilities she had like in AoI (Age of Imprisonment) and Tears. But things have changed, the line of the heroes, the true knights, has been wiped from the face of the land. The queen is dead, the king a shadow of his former self, and the princess under more pressure than she can bear. It doesn't help that the annual "Unity Festival" is right around the corner. Luckily, one young man may be able to change it all. A young man wearing a green tunic, but can he and the princess face the thing being whispered about in the darkness?
