Mavis Reed is your typical teen girl with a typical life. But there's always something, or someone, that ruins the status quo. For Mavis, it's the infamous wrestling team captain Warren Conway. Warren isn't your typical blockheaded jock. Yes, he's loud and sort of obnoxious, but he keeps to himself most times, other than a few non-coach approved wrestling matches in the back lot. He's an expert at covering up black eyes at this point. When he isn't busy with all that, he usually goes out of his way to piss off Mavis. When that happens, she is... well, pissed, obviously. It doesn't help that they are next door neighbors, and their moms are best friends. What's even more annoying is that their moms are convinced they should date. When Warren's girlfriend cheats on him, Mavis and Warren pretend to date to get revenge on her. Their moms are happy, but half the student population is not. But neither of them are backing out now.

In this post-apocalyptic world, the humans are to be feared more than the dragons that terrorized it. Amidst all, a lone traveler seeks to establish peace, for she is one of the few left who still possess what we humans call kindness.

This is a short book of poems depicting things that we sometimes think or feel while going through a hard time or just on a daily basis. This book has it's ups in life and it's down to the darkest of depts. Enjoy.
