Reality bent, twisted, and then vanished. When he opened his eyes, he was no longer home. He was in the Backrooms. The air was stale and thick, carrying the scent of damp carpet and decay. The walls stretched endlessly in every direction, covered in faded yellow wallpaper that seemed to repeat in a maddening pattern. The buzzing lights overhead flickered just enough to make shadows shift when they shouldn't. There were no windows. No doors leading outside. No signs of life. As Lincoln began to wander, the true horror set in. The Backrooms weren't just empty-they were alive in their own unsettling way. Hallways seemed to change when he wasn't looking.
