When Kai breaks up with Skylor, Cole is the one to comfort her(cuz she is his best friend). a few days later Skylor is determined to find out why Kai broke up with her. While she tries to slove this mystery Cole tries to figure out his feelings to "shoot his shot" however something is holding him back from doing this, its her.

Before you read: The first couple of chapters are a bit rough. They are by no means a reflection of my writing now. However, I do believe that they aren't bad, so long as you don't mind the pacing. Anyway, here's the description: Kai, Nya and Lloyd have... an interesting home life, to say the least. Their parents, Maya and Ray, are world travelling scientists pushing for the next major breakthrough in oceanic discoveries, and with their legacy overshadowing their children, barely know the kids they had "raised." Kai, the eldest, was forced to step up for his siblings at a young age during his parent's frequent "business trips," sacrificing most of his early adolescence in an attempt to preserve what little remained of his brother and sister's childhood. With their parents largely out of the picture, the Smith children make friends, build relationships, and begin to thrive without the oppressive weight of Maya and Ray's impossible expectations and crippling absence. Sure, things are imperfect, and some parts of their lives loom over their heads like storm clouds, but what they have is theirs, untouchable and wholly their own. Until one day it all falls apart. Three years later, Kai is finishing up high school when his parents decide to show up again- this time for good. Sam kept trying to find the people who took Jake from the recording tape of his uncle, but he has never found them. Sam finds the girl of his dreams and later on had children with her. Sam runs away being shocked that he will be a father and shortly after, a weird mutation effects him along his runaway. Sam gets in contact with a secret mutant group team up thats preparing to end all humans for only mutants to be the only existing species and to control the earth as they want it. Sam finds himself on a uncontrolled path that nearly ends the world.
