It's been two years post-high school graduation, and Marinette, Adrien, and their friends are living a normal life in Paris pursuing their passions. Hawkmoth is still a persistent threat, but Ladybug and Chat Noir have never been better at keeping the city safe. Until every villain that appears to be akumatized is actually a sentimonster. Until Adrien is told not to come home. Until people start to disappear. Occasional mature language. Also on Ao3 under the same title and username.

Ladybug and Cat Noir have always been Paris's perfect partnership until recently. Their constant fighting is getting in the way of fighting Hawkmoth's akumas. The Yin and Yang magic of the miraculous have a plan to fix that. Marinette wakes in the Agreste Mansion, missing her earrings, and Nathalie only sees her as Adrien. Adrien wakes in Marinette's bakery, missing his ring, and Marinette's parents see him as Marinette. With their identities revealed, and themselves trapped in the opposites life, the heroes must grow accustomed to living each other's lives and using the opposite miraculous in order to regain the balance needed to be the perfect team. A miraculous ladybug story! A post Hawkmoth world with seniors in high school and a sad ending to a beautiful love story between our favorite heroes.

ladybug finally agrees to spend time with chat noir outside of their patrols or akuma attacks, but it's a not a date. sure they're going out to dinner, flirting, and almost holding hands, but it's a not a date. and maybe marinette finds herself wanting to see chat more, pushing their playful flirts a little further, and she might want to kiss him. but still, not a date.

In most stories, Cat noir/Adrien is known to be a bad boy, but in this AU it's a little different. Cat noir, being known to be one of the most wanted criminals of Paris and being the leader of Miraculers. A dangerous group of criminals just like him, Volpina, Queen bee, and Carapace. Of course, they all know each other's identities, so they have their ways of communicating. One day, Adrien's father, Gabriel Agreste has announced that his son will finally start attending a public school, since Adrien's grades have dropped. But the blonde boy won't be alone however, his friends will have to join him too. All his friends known to be rich, hate the fact of going to school full of low-lives, especially Chloé. But what Adrien never suspected, was that he'd end up falling for a goody-two shoes bakery girl... Join Ladybug, Cat Noir, Marinette, and Adrien as they experience the wonders of the silver screen! notes: ladynoir: disney movies adrienette: barbie there will be VERY slow updates. since each chapter is a different movie, and movies are normally about 75-90 minutes to two hours, and there's still a ton of stuff that happens before and after in the miraculous universe. so its gonna take a while for a chapter to get on here it's only adrienette and ladynoir, since i'm worried about what would happen to the characters if they started mixing ships (like identities could be revealed) this takes place during the season 1 era (so like, back when it was just ladybug and cat noir and it was just them being their flirtatious selves and then marinette being obsessed with adrien and adrien being the oblivious sunshine cinnamon roll. it does take place like after the pharaoh, i believe) expect "prince of egypt" to show up somewhere; it's only the best animated movie in history, so these dorks should be able to go. there may or may not be a couple in-movie ships movies will have parts of them changed or altered, either a little or a lot (if you've read "The Barbie Adventure", you know that happens a lot in there) Yeah. Stuff happens; lots of two the love square ships; enjoy!
