When Marinette and Adriens class goes on a trip to NYC they get a sense that there is someone using a very powerful miraculous for evil deeds, but shockingly it's not Hawk Moth. And Marinette has a good idea of who it might be. But before she can act, all her classmates start disappearing into thin air!!! Can Ladybug and Chat Noir save they're classmates and New York all while keeping there identities a secret from each other? This is a reveal story but it will be later on in the story. Méribel Talbot had been in possession of a strange wooden box for a while now. She had found it in a charity shop back home. It was a wooden box with three dark birds carved into the mahogany. The birds had looked identical at first, but, on closer inspection, Méribel had found that they had minuscule differences in design. The birds were not all the same size, and they had different tail and beak shapes. Another thing that Méribel noticed only after she had brought the box was that it did not open. The box had a silver metal latch which appeared rusted shut. That had been disappointing. Méribel had hoped to use it for her Year 8 Gothic Literature Project, but she guessed that wasn't meant to be. Now, Méribel's parents had decided it was the perfect time to completely uproot Méribel's life by moving to France, her father's home country, after she had spent the first 13 years of her life in England. After many tearful goodbyes to her plethora of friends, Méribel had made a conscious decision to leave her useless wooden box on her desk in her London house; after that, she had reluctantly followed her parents into the car and watched as the city of her childhood sped away. How, she wondered, would Paris ever compare to London?

Chat Noir had always been protective of Ladybug. But, this was extreme, even for him. And Alya needed to get to the bottom of it.

one shots kind of the same vein of Marvel's what if, each one will explore what I think would have happened if a character had made a different decision. Obviously there will be some that are just normal one shots but I like my what ifs. It was a great idea by marvel.

Ladybug stumbles onto secret that isn't hers. Adrien notices the bruises all over Marinette. Chat Noir finds he quite enjoys protecting one particular civilian. Each makes a vow to take care for the other. The heroes work against time to discover Hawkmoth's malevolent goal.

Marinette thinks its time to tell Adrien how she feels. Adrien never gets to answer her question because of Chloe. All of the other times he tries he's needed somewhere else. After patrol by herself, Ladybug goes to Adrien to get her answer. The next day Alya invites Nino, Adrien, and Mari to her house for a sleepover. They play games and watch movies. Will Adrien and Marinette end up revealing their secrets or will the two secrets remain hidden? (Happens after Anansi or Sapotis. Whichever came last. Or after Nino and Alya receive their miraculous. The story is better than the summary. Ps. Spoilers for show if you haven't seen every episode yet.)
