It is based on the game Super Mario Odyssey but Bowser won't marry the princess as he had a bad experience with having her marry him. It also adds characters not in the game and replaces the Broodals with the Koopalings.

This is just a lampnold/bedbug story I started writing! sorry if it seems bad or weird, this is my first time writing a fanfic! also there is a digitaltime sideplot thing :3 no cover art yet so this is it for now :P

Two main characters. Harry and Louis. Two sides of a slow-burn love. Harry has spent years hiding parts of himself from everyone around him. His parents worry, his only friend is kept at a distance, and solitude feels both comforting and painful at the same time. Then a new student arrives, and suddenly the questions Harry has spent years avoiding become impossible to ignore. Louis had always known exactly who he was supposed to be. A good son, a good player, someone who didn't ask questions or make things complicated. At home, especially, there wasn't much room for anything else. Then he met Harry sitting inside the slide, knees pulled to his chest, face hidden in his arms. He almost kept walking, but he didn't. A coming-of-age story about friendship, loneliness, and two sides of a slow-burn love. "They kissed. They were kissing. For five seconds. And then the guy slipped his hand up the front of Charlie's shirt and they started stumbling into the bathroom. And that was Harry's cue to leave. His face burned. His insides burned. Harry left before Charlie came back. The cold night air hit him the second he stepped outside, but it didn't help. His face still felt hot and his chest still felt tight. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket and started walking. The streets were mostly empty. A few people laughed outside the pub doors behind him. Harry quickened his pace. He wished he hadn't gone. No. That wasn't true. He wished Charlie hadn't talked to him. That wasn't true either. Gay. The word kept bouncing around inside his head. Charlie had said it so easily.
