Cyber-bullying. The word sends shivers down most people's spines. Especially mine. Whenever I read about or hear of a student being bullied online, at school, or at home, my anger demons feel like taking over, and I am almost ready to send someone's tormentors to the Shadow Realm. There they would be tormented for all time - or until I see they've learned their lesson and choose to set them free, whichever comes first. Still, I know that cyber-bullying is a serious problem. Contrary to what most people think, it's not exactly very hilarious or funny. It should be taken very seriously, brought to light and eventually exposed as the monster it truly is. For that is what it truly is - a monster that takes over too many people's lives. Anyway, I dislike it with a very deep passion. Here in my story Amy is finally shown that even those who are called names or abused can overcome and be loved by those they thought unworthy of.

She was broken. She was mended. One call saved her life. This is her story. The story of one who was broken and mended. This is a work of fiction, but it is important to keep in mind that this does occur in real life.

My entry for the #LaterHaters Contest! - It's not uncommon for bullies to be forced to repress aggression as children. Their aggression often becomes misdirected anger in their latter years because of it. Although bullying is never okay, society has failed to accept that bullies are victims themselves and continue taking the wrong approach at solving the issue. Everyone makes mistakes. However, some mistakes have more serious repercussions. This is a tale of change and forgiveness. I wrote this to tell everyone that it's never too late to change. Although what you've done may have caused extensive damage that cannot be repaired, repression and guilt will do nothing but destroy another life: your own. Do what you can to make things right. No one expects perfection. It's the effort that changes everything.
