This time, I can't help but flinch as touches me and pulls the other strap down .. baring my other shoulder to his eyes. "Anthony, you can't say those things. We ... we're supposed to be best friends." He kisses my shoulder and the words come out weak, unbelievable .. unconvincing even, as they come from my own lips. I’d say my life is pretty standard.
