But when Jennifer moves to Paris, Emily and Oliver end up with Adam. He tries to be a good father to them. But it's not easy. He also has a drug addiction. Emily and Oliver are there for him. When they come home from school one day, they see their dad making out with a man named Jack. Adam tells them that he's his boyfriend. He's scared that they'll leave him, now when they know his secret. Emily and Oliver are so happy for him. Their lives are turned upside down when Jennifer returns to New York. She wants her children back and she's ready to destroy Adam's life to get what she wants.
