Death Note: A story known for its drama, suspense, and deep commentary on the human mind. Now, what would happen if you took the main characters, stuck them in a house together, lowered the seriousness level about twenty notches, and made up random rules? Answer: WTF!? Note: Death Note characters and story belongs to creators of the manga and anime. Also, spoilers.

How did Light and L sleep together during the Yotsuba arc (When they were chained together), if not intimately? This oneshot depicts exactly what I, personally think happened.

Light and L are reborn into another life. Memories are remembered, bit are they real or just a dream. They're reborn in the modern day in the year 2022. Will they remember each other or will they think it was just a dream. Watch as they remember each other are the feelings the same new or are they going to learn new things about each other now that the case is over. (Yes I know he was alive in 2010 but just shhh we're going to pretend the original story was in 1999)

In a world where the terrorist group, Kira, has the ability to kill people without being there, it's up to L, the world's greatest detective, and the NPA to get to the bottom of it all. This decision was, on the surface, meant to create pressure for his prime suspect and to disallow Kira committing more murders under his watch. However, Light is no longer sure exactly why he insisted that he be put into captivity, and he does not quite seem like he remembers or possesses the power to commit murder from a remote location. As the two of them coexist with forced proximity at all hours of the day, questions of dignity, personal space, and the nature of their relationship arise, all while Light deals with the fact that his father seems to give his ongoing consent to this situation. [An alternate universe exploring the unsettling details of the 'chained together' situation, culminating in some release of sexual tension with a lot of emotional and character exploration along the way. l stays up working on the kira case, and light gets pissed, anyway they end up getting a little "frisky" but no smut!! maybe later tho

This story is written in L's and Raito's perspective though I plan on it being primarily L's. Everything takes part after the death os hinguichi. Rem already died. I'll try not to make the charakters too OC but I might fail soo... Maybe LxLight I'm not sure yet. Ryuzaki comes up with an intresting theory but to prove it he ha to send some people into the Kira Unit to observe Light. This is the first story which I actually plan on finishing and I'm german so german grammar might sneak itself into this one.
