Light Yagami, a brilliant individual who is quick on his feet. With many expectations to meet, he's always held up a polished, picture perfect persona, if you will, but that person wasn't 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙. The boy inside the costume was drifting away from himself, slowly giving up. L Lawliet, one of the most mysterious men on the planet. He could do anything expected of him and more, yet, the truth paints a different picture. With many hidden gifts, his life is becoming almost unbearable for living. ! Light and L are reborn into another life. Memories are remembered, bit are they real or just a dream. They're reborn in the modern day in the year 2022. Will they remember each other or will they think it was just a dream. Watch as they remember each other are the feelings the same new or are they going to learn new things about each other now that the case is over. (Yes I know he was alive in 2010 but just shhh we're going to pretend the original story was in 1999)

In defiance, L dipped his teaspoon back into his plate. "Do you really believe that I'm some sort of child? You can't possibly think that I'd fall for such futile tactics," he said, pretending that Light's threats had been ineffective. However, Light wasn't easily fooled. Raising an eyebrow, he shrugged, "Ok, then." L's dark eyes widened in bottomless pools. *Cover is not mine, please message me for credit*

light found another way to find out L's name but it has to do with wining his heart, he trys to play L, breaking misa's heart in the process.L finds out and plays along with light's idea, getting more information about if he's kira or not. But what if one of them falls for the other on accident? Who will fall first?

L and Light are fated to clash, one is the world's best detective, the other is a killer who kills criminals to create an ideal world. What will happen when a forbidden feeling starts blooming between the two ? Death Note does not belong to me ! The only thing in this story that belongs to me is my own plot twist at the end and the emotions of the characters. I love Death Note and wouldn't change the original ending for anything, but I kind of wish what I wrote here is what actually happened. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it ! Also, if they seem out of character, please don't hesitate to let me know because these two were hell hard to write ! P.S. This decision was, on the surface, meant to create pressure for his prime suspect and to disallow Kira committing more murders under his watch. L and Light fall in love and have kids bc Light is a warewolf in this AU. Contains mpreg, lemon, smut, yaoi. It's a quick mix of "The Wolf children" and "Death Note" except it doesn't have sad parts and nobody dies.
