Unfortunately for seventeen year old, Aubryella, she's forced to leave her penthouse apartment in Boston to spend a weekend in the country side of New York to celebrate her great-grandmother's 100th birthday. It's not the fact that she will be forced to deal with swarms of bugs, no internet, and extreme heat without an air conditioning, it's going to be her whole Lebanese family questioning her about what the hell happened with her ex-boyfriend, James and ex-best friend, Layla. Aubry hates talking about it more than she hates people that don't seem to follow the rules and be mature, but that feeling of hatred seemed to just fly right out of the door with Kian Damon, the really attractive delinquent finishing up his community service hours at Aubry's uncle's barn. Somehow, he seduces Aubry (who's having a bit of a personality change) and they hook up on the last night she's in town.
School finally starts after summer vacation. Everything seems to be normal, except for the huge swarm of girls surrounding a new student. Aubry doesn't think much of it and just gets to class, only to find out that her summer fling isn't so much of a fling anymore...
