Annie Forrest is a 17 year old girl who lives in a small cottage in Cambridge. Since as long as she can remember Annie has been seeing faces in things that scream danger. She has only seen them, but never dared to touch one. She has stayed silent about them, afraid of what would happen to her if she told someone - would she be seen as crazy? She always ignored the faces. Always. Until the 16th of January. The day her life was ruined. After touching one face Annie is teleported to a world of blood, horror and death. Nightmares torture her while the moon is up and day horrors threaten her while the sun shines and Annie finds herself obliged to touch them. Follow Annie's journey as she fights for her freedom of this curse and what happens when she touches not only the floating faces...

But this story still raises lots of questions on what actually made her kill herself.
