[Oneshot] Miguel was once a simple boy. A Filipino immigrant in the United States. It wasn't easy for him and his family, especially with all the racism that goes around. Not to mention, his anxiety problem. When everything goes downhill and it feels like there is nowhere to go, a special someone comes to him and gives him the biggest inspiration one could receive and fuel Miguel into making the next worldwide phenomena. Join Miguel in the story of his life and how he came from nothing and worked his way into the limelight, all for those he has loved and lost. •❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅• This short story is originally made for my English project for school, and as well as an entry for the short story showcase in our Academic Week event. This is also heavily inspired by the musical genius Lin-Manuel Miranda. I want to dedicate this to him, even if he doesn't know about it. He's inspired me a lot and has gotten me into songwriting. Even if it seems impossible, I aspire to make a musical about Filipino heroes, same as how he did with Hamilton. This honestly took me about an entire week to make, so I hope this doesn't fail. **based off the song by Cavetown Breeze Merkelig is a normal girl who lives a most dreadfully tedious life. That is, until rumors start going around about the new school teacher and his son. Breeze is intrigued that someone so peculiar exists. Thomas Creek never liked school. Mostly because there was people there. He just didn't get along with people. He was rude and cunning. No one liked him. Even at his new school, hes gained the name Lemon Boy due to how sour he is to everything and everyone. Breeze will stop at nothing to be his friend and Thomas will stop at nothing to let her go.

This is a short story loosely based off of Cavetown's song, lemon boy. It is about two boys at school who become friends but then are broken apart by a group of bullies and societal expectations. This story is written as a children's book so it's a bit simpler than my other books but it is still a really great read. Reminder that the art used is not mine and the artist is credited in the image on the last chapter.
