Two: I'm then under my desk (out of sight, out of mind, right?), the alarms continue to blare as we switch off the lights and fly under the desks. Three: An announcement rings around the room before getting cut off with a gun. Our principal's final words haunted my head. "This is not a drill. Please stay under." Like every New Yorker, she tried her best to ignore the world around her and focus on the "important matters" of school. But it seemed that "unlikely" was her middle name.
