Her friends at the barricade needed her help and she was happy to help them. No matter what her fathers thoughts on the matter was. Elstarkra was always a wide eyed child. She knew the law like the back of her hand, but that didn't mean she couldn't get into childish antics. A café stood in a street, she hadn't seen it before, but the mysterious cafe always appeared in her dreams. She never told her father, with him being an inspector he had a reputation to uphold. Élise was born into a decent, middle class family, but with her father's death and her brother drinking and gambling away his small inheritance, she moved to Paris, in hope of finding better prospects. With rents going up and wages going down, she eventually ends up living, and then almost dying on the streets, before being rescued by two young medical students. With an introduction to Les Amis de l'A.B.C., she finds the world opening up before her again, and discovers her place in it. Based primarily on Victor Hugo's novel, with some reference to the musical and the 2012 film. Some parts also inspired by Henry Mayhew's London Labour and the London Poor. I will confess myself to be more of a historian than an author, and as such, this book is primarily an attempt to bring some history into a retelling of the aspect of Les Miserables that seems to have captured so many people's imaginations - that is to say, the June Rebellion of 1832 and the lead up to it. {Enjolras x OC}

Just a small little Les Mis scenario

Éponine Thénardier becomes associated with a group of revolutionists but what will be most important in the end... The idea of becoming a Martyr, survival or love?

A short story about Grantaire and Enjolras. Grantaire had never been very confident or outgoing, and lately his life has been kind of rough. His parents died and gave all their money to his sister, and he lost his job in the matter of a week. So it was not uncommon for him to be hanging around a bar trying to drink away his problems. At first his drinking wasn't an issue, but soon his life loomed over him like an old rotting willow tree. Threatening to topple at any second and persistently pushing bottle after bottle into his hand.

Everything seems perfect for Marius and Cosette until one change of fate turns around all their plans.

What if it where different? What if as soon as the blonde haired blue eyed Beauty came along everything changed? What if Éponine was tossed aside and Cosette took her place as the one Thérnardiers loved greatly. What if...? Please give me feed back on how I can I prove!
