Zelda and Link have defeated Calamity Ganon and are now free to go their own way. However, it is hard to get to grips with their past, which can get in the way of their present. And as if that isn't hard enough, there seems to be a new threat that they will need to face. **This story takes place directly after Breath of the Wild and has no link to Tears of the Kingdom. Don't forget to check out the sequel: Noble by Nature!

This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.

Months ago, an unknown virus broke out, turning Hyruleans into decaying corpses. Panic erupted throughout the nation, as more bitten Hyruleans turned, and soon, the affected areas were sealed off to prevent further spread. The situation seems bleak. All connection to the outside world has been cut off. The radios and TVs had gone out weeks ago. No news of help, supply crates, or evacuations. You don't even know if there is some semblance of normal life outside anymore, and it's certain that no one is coming to look for survivors. Now, it's just Link and you, the zombies, and whatever you can salvage from the wreckage that had been left in the mass panic. Perhaps there are other survivors out there. World of Light is a story mode full of potential, unfortunately not as well handled as the Subspace Emissary mode in Brawl. A thing that it could improve it, I thought, it would be a few animations showing interactions between the fighters when they free new ones from Galeem/Dharkon's corruption. Some charachters may have more variants, as World of light doesn't have an order, but some others will have only one (the ones who are obligatory to continue the path). I'll start with the charachters involved in SSBU without the DLC's, maybe then I will add them too.

A modern Linked Universe fic with a small side of Zelink! @dat_cat_ded(my sister) suggested the Zelink part. Oh, and it's probably just going to be Sky or Wild to avoid too much confusion. ~ What happens when you put 9 people in one house for an extended period of time? They thought it was a great idea, but it turns out it might not be as fun as they thought it would be. Hanging out with friends may be fun, but living with them? Not as fun. Especially when there's so many of them. Secrets will be spilled, lies will be told, and feelings will be hidden. Oh, and one of them has a typical "tragic bsckstory," but unlike your typical YA novel protagonist, it actually negatively affected him for longer than a week.
