This is the English version from the original "Hinter den Zeilen" (Behind the Lines). I translated it to English, because it's only fair for everyone, who doesn't speak German. Some translations might be bad, pls don't hate! I'm still learning English! Anyways, have fun! :3 The band has been on tour since the beginning of the year. The five boys/girls (and Alex) enjoy the tour life and traveling together. But the three remaining founders of the band feel that something is different than it used to be... I have the 1. Chapter written with the help of ChatGPT, as I never get a start to a story. (Sorry) Oh, and the first few chapters are pretty lame, so you can just skip them. About from the 8th Chapter it starts with the actual story. Very important: This is ONLY a fanfiction! None of this is real!

It's Rob Bourdon's last day as an official Linkin Park member and Mike is STILL not ready to accept he's leaving even though they already have a replacement for him, Colin. Mike had promised himself that he would never lose another band member after...you know who. But despite all the begging and persuasion Rob won't budge, he has other plans for going out. The last thing he wants to do before he retires as an LP member is to find Colin and Emily and have an important talk with them. They are the future of Linkin Park, everyone knows that, ESPECIALLY Rob. In Rob's opinion Brad, Mike, Joe, and Phoenix did a shitty job of trying to prep them up for everything they're gonna have to go through. They're not aware of how half of the LP fandom are like fucking animals who want to tear them to shreds, they don't know about the secret ¨rules¨ in the band, Emily especially doesn't know enough about Chester and should know more about the man who passed the torch down to her, and Colin is clueless about everything and both of them don't even know how to work the ¨Linkin Park ship¨ without sinking or crashing! Perhaps, Rob can change that... [Main characters for this story: Rob, Emily, and Colin. Some cursing, mention of suicide, mention of Chester's death. Mike, Joe, Brad, and Phoenix appear in this story with Mike in the first chapter and the others in the last chapter but they do not have big roles. Complete]

This story is filled with joy,sadness,grief,mourning,and anger. Go through this emotional adventure with her.

This story is meant as journal for self-reflection purposes only. As someone whose emotions and thoughts are in constant chaos, I'm still grappling in this reality that I'm having a hard time to manage these intrusive thoughts that I often ruminate a lot. It's making me lose my mind and I'm struggling on how to articulate and express myself, but at least in here, I'm going to vent here. Feel free to exit this story if you don't like it. You know how I write things out of random and you might not understand some things. I feel chaotic inside that it's too hard to explain. Take note that this is not your typical story, this only contains words of personal essay which is based from daily experiences of the writer itself. A daily life reflection of thoughts, feelings and even random topics to talk about. An outlet to release the burdens placed on my mind, and as a way of expressing my own view on things.
