Morgan has signed up for a group holiday to Thailand, hoping to meet new people. After missing her flight and the initial information shared with the rest of the group, she is helped out by 21-year-old Dean Carter. The two become inseparable, doing everything together, making memories they never will forget. However, when the trip ends, they return to their separate lives, promising to stay in touch; Dean heads back to Manchester, while Morgan returns to New Jersey. Morgan eventually enters a relationship, leaving her with little time-and a boyfriend who forbids her from contacting Dean. Three years pass before the relationship ends; facing reality again, she realizes how much she misses Thailand. She decides to revisit the cities from the itinerary they had mapped out on their bucket list three years earlier. While traveling on her own, she suddenly runs into someone she recognizes.

This is NOT a self-help book. One month and three days away from turning 34, Misha Gerrick is feeling like her entire life imploded. The process started years ago, in 2014, but after years of staggering through loss after loss and day after day like life just isn't making any sense at all, one big question has started to hit her with one giant blow: Is this REALLY what life is supposed to be? This book will be difficult. It will go into some dark and thorny places as Misha digs into her experience and very existence to figure out this project called LIFE, and how to live it. Someone else might find this process as a useful, painful, maybe even beautiful inroads into thinking some troublesome thoughts about what it all even means, but it is NOT a self-help book. There is no one way to live life, and this is just about how one person decided to go about finding fulfilment and a sense of joy in the everyday business of living.

The prospect of turning fifty doesn't send Julia running for the hills or plastic surgery. In fact, getting a facelift, tattoo, motorcycle license or taking up a new, midlife crisis fueled hobby, are the furthest things from her mind. As far as 'living your dream before it's too late' goes, Julia has already hit the jackpot. A retired model that could still strut the runway with the best of them, a husband whose smile, even after 25 years, still gives her tingles, and two kids that have grown into adults any parent would be proud of. Life for Julia doesn't just seem perfect - it is. Until one rainy day in April, when Julia disappears without warning, trace, or credible explanation, leaving her family reeling with total disbelieve. Nothing about this makes sense! On the surface, her disappearance seems completely out of character, a snap decision that simply had to be a mistake! Yet, when Julia dragged her suitcases onto the front porch and closed the door on life as she had known it, she simply delivered on a promise she had made to herself thirty years ago. Because some scars in our past just can never be buried enough... For Julia, all it took was one word to break down the walls she built around her private mountain of guilt, fear, pain, and torment half a lifetime ago. No, she won't let history repeat itself, and no, she is NOT giving in, she's taking charge! But even the most mature plan has moving parts. Only time will tell if her conviction is stronger than her heart - and time is running out. Set along the beautifully rugged northern California coast, The Pelican deals with the painful question that creeps into the mind of anyone who has ever witnessed a loved one fight a terminal illness: 'What if that was me?'

The book 'sunflowers by the sea' is a compilation of poems I have written. It is about the wonders over the hardships as well as complications of the human life, where the highs and the lows, the dos and the don'ts, as well as the desperate hopes of love and light all come into play, intertwining with each other as time passes by.

Tumors! Surgeries! Watch out for that cancer!! Zap! Got it. It's kind of just everyday life for me. People tell me it's scary and they worry for me but sometimes I kind of get surprised by that. Who me? What? Oh ya, the rare genetic thingy I have.... I have been tested for tumors since I was a baby. Been under the knife A LOT. Before me my mom and my sister were going in for surgeries, even my grandfather. It's just the way things are. Most of the time I don't even think about it. That doesn't mean if someone told me I had 6 months to live I wouldn't crap my pants. But so far that hasn't happened....well it sorta did, but they didn't exactly use those words, and then later they changed their mind. Ooops sorry: deadly tumor downgraded to "artifact" (whatever THAT means). So it occurred to me not everyone has been on the health warrior path as long as me. Some people may be facing the world of tumors and surgeries as a scary new thing. I decided to publish this ongoing serial of my thoughts, experiences, trials and tribulations to help. At least, that is my hope. Please feel free to ask me questions in the comments, or share your own health news and fears. Or if you would rather, PM me. Always happy to hear from people and help when I can.

Death comes to all, everything that starts will reach its final day. But even though death cannot be undone doesn't mean the world ends. Sadly, to Moth it did. Moving from a small town to the big city isn't the best when you experience death for the first time. And a black cat who knows every nook and cranny of this glowing 'wonderland' might help her see that the city can be a place she could call home. I don't know if this story will contain mature themes later on, so please be aware. If they do I will add *mature* to this story. **PICTURES ARE NOT MINE**

It feels like l'm walkin' On a broken wooden bridge Above a deep river that's flowing To the destinations still unknowing! This constant fear above me Never lets me sleep either What if one moving plank breaks away right & I would never turn from that dark night My brain is blistering over 100°c New bubble, New dilemma Oh I wish this could be a little less I just wish my life was'nt such a mess! This needs an end Happy or sad doesnt bother Too much of this suffering So there's no more heart aching ~ak
