What if Mk were younger in the show than in canon like 7-10, things would be different and interactions would change. Mk would of been found by Pigsy and Tang a few years before canon at around 2, Mei will act as an older sister knowing him through Tang when she was in 13 or 15. The Traffic Light Trio were tricked into helping Monkey King clean out/organize his treasure room. stumbling across a weird artifact and accidentally activating it. The Trio got sent to the past. Recognizing they were in the Tang Dynasty at the time Monkey King was on his journey.

Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. what if instead of starting the fight that ends up with Macaque dead, he observes from the shadows watching as Sun Wukong gets mistreated. being verbally and physically abused by Tripitaka and Pigsy. Already pissed at the blatant mistreatment of his mate his seemingly never-ending patients finally wears out when Tripitaka gets onto Wukong for being a "dirty monkey" and refusing to bathe like the rest of them and under the pretense of "being disobedient" uses the fillet. in Macaques eyes Tripitaka is torturing Wukong for being neglected because after all a "dirty Monkey" is a monkey that's unloved and abandoned.

[MACAQUE GETS THERAPY/REDEMPTION AU] Sun Wukong and The Six-eared Macaque used to be best of friends. They were the Sun and Moon, they were inseparable! They were exactly the same but total opposites at the same time, and they basked in that fact. They were two of a kind... Until Wukong killed Macaque out of anger. From that, neither will recover. Macaque was revived and roamed the earth once more, but he wasn't the same. Nowadays, Wukong has a successor. A young, bright, happy human named Mk. Macaque goes on to antagonize Mk, attacking him, fooling him, trapping his friends- Until one day Macaque finds himself at the Kid's mercy soon after Lady Bone Demon's defeat. Mk refuses to harm Macaque despite the past and instead opts to take him to Sandy's for his wounds and a bit of therapy. Macaque begrudgingly goes and it seems fine at first.
