Lincoln Loud never expected a simple visit to his home to turn his entire life upside down. One day, the Loud family receives an unexpected visitor: a young man claiming to represent a prestigious academy for gifted children. According to him, Lincoln has been personally selected as a potential student because of talents that supposedly make him stand out from other children his age. At first, the opportunity sounds incredible-but the more questions the Louds ask, the more suspicious the man's proposal becomes. Unwilling to send Lincoln somewhere they don't trust, the Loud family turns down the offer. Lincoln agrees with their decision.
