However, every tale has pieces missing with each generation that passes. A key person is often left out of the story because she was not one of the original nine that left Elrond's house. A half-elf named Maethriel has Isildur's blood running through her veins as well but has no knowledge of her lineage for her own safety. After Orcs destroy her village, she soon meets the fellowship. After fighting to earn their trust, she helps them on their journey to save Middle Earth, winning the heart of the elvish prince along the way. The War of the Ring is finally over, ushered in by the Fourth Age and a battle marked by far too many losses. Long-desired peace settles over Middle-earth, but the wounds of war run deep. In Ithilien, dôr uin en meth, the land of the end, or perhaps of the beginning? But peace has its edges, and the new everyday life brings challenges. Especially when shadows of the past emerge, and peace, as so often, reveals itself to be an illusion.

What if Morgoth won the war and took over Middle Earth? Ethelinda is the daughter of Morgoth and has always been one of his most powerful soldiers. She had always been by his side, keeping the rest of Middle Earth under their command through all three ages. Never once did she question his judgment until she captured a group of elves that had tried to start a rebellion against them. Most of the characters and this world are not mine.
