Seven days of festivities, body paint, tournaments, and tradition. Traditionally, it is also when couples who have delayed-for grief, for duty, for fear-finally make their pledge before the clan and Eywa. Tonowari mentions this casually. Jake overhears. Two fathers, one awkward mission. But the problem was never that Lo'ak doesn't want her. The problem is that wanting her has never felt like enough of a reason to take her away from everything she's rebuilding. And the problem is that Tsireya has spent four years waiting for him to stop being afraid-and she is so tired of waiting. Four years. One week. The cord must be finished by the final night.

Ao'nung watched as Neteyam skated toward the exit, dodging the flowers. He looked... lonely. That was the only word for it. Surrounded by thousands of cheering fans, burying his face in a tissue his coach handed him, Neteyam Sully looked like the loneliest person in the room. Ao'nung felt a weird tug in his chest. He wanted to know him. Not the poster boy, but the guy who looked like he was carrying the weight of the entire world on his sequined shoulders. Ao'nung finally blinked for the first time since the performance started, looking down at his phone. He in fact forgot to record at all. But he didn't care, as his eyes quickly flicked back up to the star. He watched Neteyam disappear into the tunnel, the cameras flashing blindingly around him. A grin tugged at the corner of Ao'nung's mouth, chaos bubbling up again. Maybe figure skating is a little more interesting than he thought.

Tsireya was sad about Lo'ak, because since Neteyam died he hadn't been the same, he almost didn't smile and he didn't want to be with the others either, although he did spend more time with her. One day Tsireya decides to cheer him up but what she had in mind ended up changing when she accidentally discovers an interesting dice about Lo'ak.

The Omatikaya and other forest tribes have signed a peace treaty with the Sky People, that contains a counterpart : Na'vi people have to let humanity install itself on the planet, and, if they don't, the threat of a massive genocide prowls around them...

The Sully's were driven out by Quaritch after lo'ak decided to beat up spider for his treatment towards kiri in their relationship cheating on her. Jake decides to move out the city after realizing most of the city has shunned them by Quaritch's influence as army general. Meeting up with an old friend he met through highschool to college Tonowari, he decides to ask him for help to settle down in his town with his family. In this new town he prays that his family can get over their inner problems including him and his disappointment of his second eldest son Lo'ak.
