Bobogue is a poet and lives on the dole like her brother Paddy, another poet. They have a dysfunctional small farm which Paddy never leaves. Bobogue ventures into the outside world twice a week. She stables her poetry to telegraph poles in town, does the shopping and rarely speaks to anyone. Then she meets Jason, a software whizz who has just moved to the area... a lot happens in this short story, which won the Irish Caomhnú fiction award in 2011. Bobogue was published in Onwards blog and in The Clare Champion. It opens Quare Hawks, my 3rd collection of stories.

This is a story about a Popstar named Modesta Brown, whose path crossed with Lorn Lucas, CEO of the great, famous and almighty EMPIREDEGOLD but had a lot of adversaries because Lorn was a guy every lady desired to behold to themselves...
