And when a certain someone threatens the spot on top that Eddie has reserved for himself, the ugly side of him unleashes, and things get... messy. Let's just say that Eddie Kaspbrak would do anything for his reputation. And that includes befriending a complete moron, despite it's challenges. And it's challenges... are a fucking lot. But he's willing to get his hands dirty for the deed. As they all say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. When Eddie's mom demands he goes to live with his aunt - after the only streak of rebellion he's ever participated in - he's afraid he won't have any friends, or that his aunt Bethany will be even worse than his mother. But he's quite shocked when she's quite possibly the nicest person ever. So nice that she lets one of the neighborhood kids stay with her and her family if his home situation gets bad. Richie has never had the best homelife. After everything blows up one night, his neighbor is kind enough to open him with open arms. He doesn't have any friends, and it doesn't help that Bowers and his goons harass him at school. At least schools out.
