She looked away from him and cast her gaze toward the navy sky, trying to remember a time when darkness was the scariest thing in her world. She answered him absently, smiling up at the stars and ignoring his gaze. At least it wasn't hard to think of a time when she didn't feel close to him like this. "Couldn't be, even if i tried my damnedest." She promised in light tone.
"Oh yeah? And why's that, sweetheart?" He drawled, looking down on her with humor evident in his eyes.
"There's nothing you could take from me, William Greys. I've got nothing to lose."
