"Oh shit I am so sorry." I looked in horror as my hot chocolate cup went flying onto a lady. I went running towards her trying to save her neat outfit with my waste of a handkerchief. She just sighed, "It's OK. I will handle it no need to worry." She looked me in the eyes and gave me a kind smile. I could see the disgust in her eyes she was trying to hide looking at the splatter. It seems like she is not a fan of hot chocolate. On a side note her eyes, were a beautiful shade of chocolate brown. "I am so sorry please let me buy you some new clothes as an apology." I snapped out of my thoughts. Her smile remained on her face. " That's fine. I do have some spare in my car. I work nearby, so it's not an issue. You have a nice day." saying so she disappeared. If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. We are written in the stars, and I will wait as long as it takes. I'll wait and gently help you heal.

Now, she's back in the coastal Italian village to settle her grandmother's estate-older, wiser, and no longer the lovesick girl who once gave her heart to a boy beneath the olive trees. But the moment he lays eyes on Elena, the air between them turns electric. And volatile. They try to stay away. They fail. Between heated glances and dangerous kisses, secrets unravel, truths surface, and the passion that once ignited between them threatens to consume them both. But old betrayals don't die easily-and the line between love and resentment is razor thin. In a town where everything smells of sea salt, sun-drenched citrus, and temptation, Beneath the Olive Sky is a slow-burn second-chance romance about unfinished business, wild desire, and the love you never truly forget.
