The story continues with humanity as they face more challenges in the dangerous world of Magic and Gods. Unlike the native races, humanity cannot channel mana naturally and were viewed as inferiors because of it. But through sheer ingenuity, mankind have adapted it for technological use by crafting magi-tech devices that allow them to harness mana without ever casting a spell. This limitation paradoxically grants them a unique advantage to create weapons and technologies that rival and sometimes even surpass the might of demigods. However, there is still a very long road before true mastery can be claimed as mankind is far from reaching the pinnacle of magical understanding for higher levels of magic exist that render even their most advanced creations insignificant. In this world, there are beings whose power spans from continental devastation to planetary annihilation, capable of wiping out nations with a single strike. Beyond raw power, there are even Spiritual Lifeforms who can regenerate endlessly as long as their souls remain intact. Even more terrifying are the countless "hax" abilities that defy logic and science altogether spread throughout the higher civilizations of the New World. These include powers such as Soul Manipulation, Fate Manipulation, Reality Warping, Immortality, Time Manipulation, Intangibility, Death Manipulation, and even Existence Erasure itself. In comparison to these supernatural phenomena, humanity's magi-tech, though immensely superior to Modern Earth's technology, is still only scratching the surface of the vast and often incomprehensible potential of mana. From Demon Lords to Sea Monarchs, from True Dragons to the Old Gods, and even from Alien Invaders to Lovecraftian Horrors beyond the stars, humanity is tested endlessly both physically and mentally in this strange and unforgiving world. Can mankind as a whole overcome these dangers and guide a world filled with countless horrors toward peace?

!!! DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A FIRST DRAFT !!! AIITBS is a story inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, starting in Boston Massachusetts in the year 1934. It starrs young scholar and occultist Nathaniel Butler, of the obscenely wealthy Butler family, who's dealings in magic and alchemy force him into misadventures of the certainly eldritch variety. This story is quite a ways from being finished but I already have an ending in mind, so I am confident that it will be in time. Please be patient and I hope you have fun while reading! Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn! Yours truly, Creaturefromtheattic

Gravenwood is a small American port town founded in the late 1800s, where the forest presses too close and the sea never rests easy. Built along a cold, black-water inlet, the town grew around its lumber mill and shipping docks. By 1923, it counted just over four hundred residents - fishermen, dockworkers, mill hands, widows, drifters, and those who arrived by boat and never quite left. The harbor is narrow and often swallowed in fog. Ships come in quieter than they should. The tides run strangely strong. Some nights, lantern lights can be seen drifting far out past the breakwater... where no vessels are anchored. Three roads lead into Gravenwood. Only one reliably leads out. The forest surrounding the town is dense, old, and uneven - trees growing twisted, bark scarred as if carved by unseen hands. Locals do not walk beneath them after sundown. The church bell rings at dusk whether someone pulls the rope or not. Gravenwood is not large enough to be famous. But it is small enough to keep secrets. Each tale focuses on a character that has been created by a viewer from my Twitch stream. Together we weave a world of mystery and horror.

Old...Middle...New...Hellenistic...the dynasties of the ancient land of Egypt have come to be known as one of the most prominently studied periods of time in all of history, containing many mythological tales of wonder and fantasy. Yet they were just that, fantasy...or so Antinanco once believed. A young man has come to see that those fanciful legends are anything but when he finds he is linked with one of those ancient beings, Horus himself, becoming his 'Oracle'. With this, five other youths are attached to respective deities, one of which being a self-proclaimed patron of Chaos which have a score to settle with Horus. This ancient conflict, however, soon becomes only one of the many troubles that plague them. In the shadows, there is a collecting of strange articles relating to an old evil thought to be taken care of long ago, an evil that threatens the entire planet as it wishes nothing more than to have the star warming the Earth firmly in its stomach. Antinanco, his fellow Oracles must seek out and collect these pieces of the great evil, all the while avoiding a cult that wishes to acquire these artifacts as well, the head of this cult not being entirely what he seems... Can these six combine efforts with their linked deities to assist in securing the Earth continues to be nourished by the sun? Can the gods themselves learn from their human partners and put past issues to rest? I thank you dearly for reading this debut novel. If you enjoy, please vote!
