Have you ever known the paradox of something that is constantly evanescing away despite existing eternally? A feeling- that continues to vanish whilst lingering deep within your existence. -Well, you will have most certainly known it by the time you close this book. Eternal Evanescence is a record of the raw emotions of a girl who had just newly turned 15, just fell in love, just starting to explore the meaning of life, who despises herself to the core and is just learning how to fit the words like pieces of a puzzle to create art. Itoshii: A Tanka Collection began with an old Japanese word, "itoshii", meaning "beloved" or "darling." From that, grew a collection of tanka poems in its many forms - devotion, heartbreak, the slow return to yourself, and the realities. Moreover, tanka poetry is spare by nature. Five lines, and a handful of syllables. Therefore, that restraint felt right within this subject, since love rarely announces itself loudly.

I walked along a quiet street, With heavy steps and tired feet... The world was bright, but in my mind, A deeper shadow stayed behind... For life is swift, and life is grand, But hard to hold inside your hand... Then you arrived, a sudden light, That made the heavy days feel bright... You taught my frozen heart to beat, And made the bitter moments sweet... I thought that love was meant to stay, To chase the lonely clouds away... But promises can fade and break, Like ripples on a quiet lake... You said goodbye, the doors were closed, A sharper pain than I opposed... Now love is gone, and in its place, An empty room, an empty space... Yet through the tears that start to fall, I learn to stand up through it all... For life goes on, and hearts can mend, Even when we reach the end... Though darkness falls and hope seems far, I'll find myself right where you are- Not in your arms, but in the light, That helps me breathe through every night...

" A drop of ink may make a million think. " Poetry is an amazing art form that helps readers to feel and writers to express. That is what I am going to do. This is a collection of my poetry which will have every poem I write. Now, I am a beginner and not practiced as much I have read thousands and hopefully will be able to do well. I understand that the writing might be a lot immature and it will contain my best as well as worst of my works. I am learning and will continue to and hopefully will get better with time I will love to talk ,as for criticism you can, but please be respectful and considerate because many of the poems may be like my heart poured out, my feelings poured out so I request please be considerate while criticizing Hope you enjoy your time reading them Have a good day💕
