Though they were victorious in sealing the beast, the monstrous servants of the Calamity still linger, and the most of the kingdom was lost to time and taken over by the wild. Opting to forgo their titles and start a new life as regular travelers before starting to rebuild the kingdom, Link and Zelda begin their new life in the Era of the Wild, trying to discover why the monsters still exist. Little do they know, someone might be guiding them toward a quite unexpected trial... And as if that isn't hard enough, there seems to be a new threat that they will need to face. **This story takes place directly after Breath of the Wild and has no link to Tears of the Kingdom. And the closer they get, the more everything else begins to slip. Because Zelda is being pulled toward a future she doesn't want, and Link is terrified that if he lets himself love her, he'll lose her too. I still find it hard to believe... For one, the guy stares way too much, carries himself like he's Hyrule's gift to the world, and has zero hesitation when it comes to throwing weapons-boomerangs, swords, maybe even spears-at my head if he feels like it. Two, the longer I stay, the more I realize... something's off... This world isn't just a game anymore. At least, not the game I thought I knew. With monsters lurking, divine beasts looming, and the occasional, "Wait, was that a UI glitch or an actual ghost?" moment, I have exactly two options: Figure out how to get home. As Student Council President, she's the face of the school - polished, controlled, untouchable. But behind the perfect image is a secret she guards with her life: she's the anonymous voice behind Sheik, the underground blog exposing the academy's darkest truths. Then a new transfer student arrives. Link is quiet, unreadable, and instantly the center of every rumor. He's good at everything, avoids everyone, and somehow keeps showing up wherever trouble hits. Zelda doesn't trust him -but she can't ignore the way he looks at her like he already knows her. When students begin disappearing, clubs lose funding overnight, and the school board starts covering up "incidents," Zelda realizes something is terribly wrong at Hyrule Academy. And Link... Link seems to know more than he should. The first thing you remember is the quiet. Not the kind that comforts, the kind that presses its palms against your ears and makes the world seem smaller, as if the hills and trees and houses have all leaned in to listen. In Ordon, quiet is a familiar thing - the soft cluck of hens at dawn, the distant thud of a cart wheel, the lull of the river as it slides past the mill. But this quiet was different: older, patient, like a breath held for a long time and then not yet released. It sat on your shoulders and in the hollow of your throat, and it made the ordinary feel fragile. You had come to the spring because the spring always knew how to answer questions you could not yet form. The water there was clear as glass, rimmed by moss and the pale bones of reeds. Fireflies drifted in lazy constellations above the surface, their light small and warm against the cooling air. You crouched on the bank with your knees tucked to your chest, the hem of your skirt damp from the dew, and watched the last of the sun smear itself behind the trees until the world was only shapes and suggestion.

Ok, listen - I know (think) that Wind is a mix of WW, PH and ST (Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks), but I thought it would be cool when Spirit would be separate. Especially because he doesn't get enough attention! So, the chain meets Spirit and first think he isn't a Link, but then they do realize it. But somehow, another great evil came into Spirit's world, an evil that doubled itself and tried to bring an old one back...

The Calamity had returned. Link is missing, presumed dead, along with the Queen of Hyrule: Zelda. All seems dark, and more than ever before the world is tittering on the edge of a blade. Poised to fall into a pit of despair to which it would never return. Yet, when the world is at its darkest, and there's no hope in sight. That is when a hero will arise to light the way, and banish the shadows from whence they came. As the old legends say, where darkness rises, a hero of light will too rise to meet it. This is the story of Link, after his happily ever after.

Yet, as they embrace, ready for the moon above for death to seal their vows, it vanishes before returning to its proper place in the heavens. Realizing they have been given a second chance to live by each other's side, Kafei and Anju refuse to let anything else get in their way of being together. A story during and after the events of the end credit scene of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. (This is canon to my mainline story Couple of the Wild.)

Link and Zelda's way back to Hateno after defeating Ganon is interrumpted by a small girl that does not belong to their world. As Zelda tries to bring Hyrule to it's former glory, Link will protect his new friend from a world she's ignorant about so she can accomplish her own mission: end the eternal slumber of her village.
