After an unfortunate battle, Link is no longer the Hero of the Goddess, but the Hero of Darkness. He is on a quest for dark power and will do anything to gain it. His fairy companion, Strata, who was created from the Master Sword's light, travels with him on orders from the goddess and her own need to find the remaining light inside him.

An already delayed date gets a new coat of fresh black paint in this BotW AU Zelink, where Link discovers Zelda has changed since 100 years ago, as it has now been about a year after Link beat Calamity Ganon, and she has a whole new personality to match her new look! (Story is in Link's POV, and he doesn't talk) I do NOT own the characters in this story, as all "Legend of Zelda" characters are owned by Nintendo. This is also my first story, so it may not be much, but who knows? I altered an existing official photo for TotK, I don't own the original photo, but I made the thumbnail.

As a humble knight living in the face of a growing shadow on Hyrule, Link struggles to quickly acclimate himself to the expectations placed on his shoulders when the self-proclaimed Twilight Princess recruits him on behalf of her world and that of Hyrule to confront a usurper in another realm. However, once Link crosses the threshold into the home of the Twili, a string of disastrous consequences born of dark power and darker secrets is set in motion, leaving both realms hanging in the balance. **This fic includes prominent elements of Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask, and Hyrule Warriors**

"Link..." He shifted slightly, feeling that voice in his mind. "Link." The voice stressed, a tone of exhaustion under it. He woke, immediately pulling himself upward while his hands moved to his back, a reflex. There was nothing there, though. "Link. You must free me." The voice said again. Link turned his head, trying to find the source of the voice. "You will grow strong, and have the power needed for your task." The voice continued. "Please... help me." The ground shook. --- I don't own the Legend of Zelda.

It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. This story follows Link from albw that was promised to the princess of Hyrule. An unhappy marriage occured and now, he never feels at home wherever he goes... When he started to loose hope, he found a letter at his name and a bracelet too familiar to forget.

"You're the knight that's been going around killing these things, right?" The man asked, referring to the monsters they had just dealt with. Link nodded. "Cool. Alright, introductions." The man put his hands together, doing a little bow. "I am Toku, and I would like to join you on your quest to..." He faltered. "What are you trying to do again?" Link let a small smirk emerge. He pointed to the castle in the distance. Toku's eyes widened. "You wanna deal with whatever that is? Whoo, okay. Now I really wanna join you." Link's eyebrows rose. What use did this random stranger have to him? As if reading his mind, Toku looked him in the eyes. "I have a horse." The deal was sealed. I do not own The Legend of Zelda.

Twilight could get used to this kind of quiet. Nothing but the gentle rustle of trees in the wind, critters skittering in the underbrush, the rocky nature of the trail crunching under their feet with not a monster in sight. Granted, Rusl warned him about a camp just outside the tree-line, but the group already decided that was a tomorrow problem. For now, all they had to do was find somewhere nice to rest. ...Since apparently the inn wasn't an option. (Twilight finds out that Wild's never sang around a fire and decides that cannot stand.)
