I had just the time to look around, all fear still dwelling within but slowly dissipating bit by bit. It was huge, the soft pink paint that layered almost all the walls was definitely my favorite. It looked rich, the stairs alone had red carpet laced onto them. The flowers in the vase, and some toys that seemed to be mine when I was younger. Pleasant. But somehow, it looked a bit off. " Feels empty, right?" I turned toward her, our eyes met each other's and a sudden chill rose up my spine. She smiled at me, a stare that knows it all . I felt weird, as though my head was getting hacked. My feeling went wary in such a miserable way that my eyes strangely watered . It felt so , painful deep within. She realized that, and her expression changed. She tried to get near but I stepped back ." Who are you? What is this place?" Another step. I yelled. " You get any nearer and I'll scream. " " No one'll hear you here, honey. " I didn't realize anything, her arms were already around me. A warm embrace despite the cold touch- I was perplexed. " I miss you, you must be tired, right? Here, let's go and sit on the couch. The yellow one, remember? You used to play hide and seek with me there..." I didn't say a word. I couldn't.
