I wanted a hiding place. That's the only thing in my mind while I ran as fast as I could. I hold back the tears that threatened to burst out by biting my lips. So hard, I think it's bleeding. It looked rich, the stairs alone had red carpet laced onto them. The flowers in the vase, and some toys that seemed to be mine when I was younger. Pleasant. But somehow, it looked a bit off. " Feels empty, right?" I turned toward her, our eyes met each other's and a sudden chill rose up my spine. She smiled at me, a stare that knows it all . I felt weird, as though my head was getting hacked. My feeling went wary in such a miserable way that my eyes strangely watered . It felt so , painful deep within. She realized that, and her expression changed. She tried to get near but I stepped back ." Who are you? What is this place?" Another step. I yelled. " You get any nearer and I'll scream. " " No one'll hear you here, honey. " I didn't realize anything, her arms were already around me. A warm embrace despite the cold touch- I was perplexed. " I miss you, you must be tired, right? Here, let's go and sit on the couch. The yellow one, remember? You used to play hide and seek with me there..." I didn't say a word. I couldn't.
