Once upon a time, in an alternate universe of One Piece... As a young boy, Luffy had dreamed of being the person he'd never thought he'd want to be. To do that, of course, he needs to find a crew that will help him achieve his goal. But it won't be easy. After setting forth for island after island and recruiting a certain person who was 'owned' by a certain queen, he then became an infamous individual and was dubbed Strawhat Luffy. In this version of Eiichiro Oda's 'One Piece', the Strawhats are reimagined as fairytale characters, with some twists dashed with them. And also, as a fairy tale parody of said anime/manga, this story contains some romance that the original story doesn't.

Nami is a mermaid princess destined to live in her older sister's shadow, and Luffy is a human prince who is always compared to his proper older brothers. They just want to be free to explore without the judgmental eyes of their kingdom's residents.

It's Nami birthday, and she is very excited to be able to spend it with her favorite people. As she sees everyone, they seem to all remember her special day, making her feel special and at home. Everyone except, a certain captain with black hair. Nami is determined to find him, and make sure he remembered her special day.
