Four years had passed since the death of Manny Noceda. Their mom, Camila, was struggling to get by, never home and constantly in and out of the hospital taking up shifts, the youngest daughter, Luz, was barely ever able to keep out of trouble at school and struggled to fit in, and the oldest, Lucía, was in constant arguments with her mom until she finally packed up all of her things in the night and ran away from home six months ago. The only thing left behind was a letter with the words "I'm making this house worse and worse" written in it. Now, Luz attending a "Reality Check Summer Camp" was supposed to make everything better, everything normal. But after running off that bus to camp to chase after her one prized possession, her Good Witch Azura book, one thing led to another and now she had ended up in some old, isolated, and hidden town named the "Boiling Isles." Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. "I'll never be good enough for you," she said.

In a land of weirdness and magic, not much can actually be considered weird. Other then Valerius Thorne. He's considered rather weird for a witch, and his father even weirder. But even his weirdness is outmatch by a Human that suddenly arrives in the Boiling Isles. Which then everything starts to change. One strange event after another. All leading up to something big. Cassia Clawthorne was the daughter of Rowan Clawthorne and Ivy Sharp. Ivy wante nothing todo with her sister in-law, so Rowan took their daughter and left for a better life without her. Rowan was a... strange man, like his little sister, but he was actually in a coven. Rowan's best friend was Alador Blight, so of course Amity and Cassia were best friends, Cassia is just nicer and more accepting then Amity. She's had an up and down life, the last thing she expected was to fall in love with the Golden Guard. (I do not own The Owl House I only own Rowan, Cassia, and Ivy.)

No one was actually supposed to get stabbed that day. It was all just some scheme that Principal Bump and Amity came up with to scare Willow and her intruder friend. Following a three month long tour and being away for nearly a year, Luz Noceda was finally back in California. Living in her "aunt" Eda's house, she only intended to ride her motorcycle and hang out with her friends, Willow and Gus, all summer. That was until she got paid six hundred dollars a week to befriend the upcoming musician and pop punk princess, Amity Blight, who just so happened to move in right across the street. This is a fic loosely inspired by a mix of early 2000s and modern day pop culture, style, music, and nostalgia for the 2016 era. Additionally, this fic is more centered around specific musicians rather than their entire band, unlike a traditional band au. Enjoy.
