Neville had haunting dreams each night about You-know-who, the Dark Lord, bewitching his mind and the evil scum who murdered Neville's parents on Halloween night, 1981. One night Neville woke after having one about a certain Slytherin boy. Determined to stop Potter from helping the Dark Lord, Neville confronts the boy only to find that they are, in fact, quite similar. What if Neville Longbottom was the chosen one?

Because he defeated the darkest wizard of all time at the age of one. But when he got to Hogwarts, he was sorted into Slytherin. The wizarding world became quite skeptical. Neville Longbottom is the hero of Hogwarts, but so is Harry. When the Dark Lord rises, Harry joins him. Neville is destined to defeat Voldemort, but can he do it as well as converting Harry back to the light? You either die a hero, or live to see yourself become a villain.

Basically a month of oneshots based on a list one prompts, one a day. It was started in October by JJ, and now, there's a sequel for December, and I'm gonna try and fail this one since I didn't get a chance to in October! YAY- Me trying to be serious/formal for once: Yeah no. GO READ JJ AND INDIGO'S BOOKS AS WELL BECAUSE I GOT THE IDEA FROM THEM!

When Harry gets sorted into Slytherin, the Wizarding World turns away from him. Who did they turn to? None other than Neville Longbottom, the other boy the prophecy could have been referring to. This is Neville's journey as the Boy-Who-Lived and his mission to stop the war. Submission for Monthly Anthology contest.

Neville wakes up in a world where he is the Boy Who Lived, and everything is different. Neville though, is still Neville despite everything. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter.

Neville Longbottom, The Boy Who Lived. - Quiet.Blank. That's all it was. Every thing was a blur then in the very matter of seconds I felt my legs give out. My head hit the floor with a hard thump and then every thing was gone.

Unlike the legendary story, this was real. Harry really was sorted into the evil house. He wasn't necessarily evil though. He'd been friends with the same people, done the same things. Only this time round, Voldemort wasn't trying to kill him. This time Harry was under the fascination charm. He had the evil mind of Salazar Slytherin and he was going to use that mind to bring Voldemort back. This would mean the end of Hogwarts. Only one person could stop it. Shy, Timid, Innocent, Unexperienced Neville Longbottom. And, he did. ------------------------------------------------------ This is my entry for the monthly anthology magic month contest. *WINNING ENTRY* Remember All: A Neville Longbottom Story is a series of letters delivered by owl and exchanged between Neville Longbottom and other familiar characters from the Harry Potter series. This is being written for the @fanfic Monthly Anthology competition. The prompt I need to follow is this: Harry Potter was sorted into Slytherin. He is now preparing for the return of The Dark Lord. It is up to you, the Boy Who Lived, Neville Longbottom, to stop him. Here we go!

*Winner of Magic Month contest* It all came down to this: Him and Harry Potter. Who would be the one to confront Voldemort? Neville knows three things: 1.) Just because Harry is in Slytherin doesn't mean he's evil. 2.) He must kill Voldemort before Harry does 3.) He could really use a nice glass of Butterbeer right now. Who will triumph? Who will defeat Voldemort? Who will fulfill their destiny?
