this Red Queen fan fiction is what I think might happen in the future after Broken Throne

I wanted to show another side of Mare in this, the less tense comaposed part of her. This takes place in monfaort and its a mix of our world and theres. Red Queen Fan Fic I scream and when I hit the ground, I get dizzy and see everything doubled. I here a muffled voice. My father. Something....you okay....hurt....can you hear me...? I put the butt of my hands on my head trying to refocus my vision. When I do I look up. And in that very moment I look up, I hear a crack. Not a small one; a deafening one. More wood is going to fall. On me. I don't have time or space to run or move out the way. It starts to fall and as soon as I put my hands over my head to shield myself, I feel it. Not the wood, but the electric shock. The one with no pain, pure energy. Only this time, it consumes me. All of me. My eyes are closed but I see purple. Ultraviolet purple. I feel like I put all the energy I've had in my life in this one moment. Then as soon as it came, it goes. When nothing happens, my hands still over my head, I find the courage to look up and around me. And what I see is not what I expect.

Even as a prince, Maven has lived in the shadows all his life. Not even his mother, who can dive into anyone's mind and read every thought, truly sees him. But then tradition demands that he go to the trenches of the Choke, and there he meets a Red boy who sees right through him.
