Maya hasn't dated for fifteen years and didn't plan on it anytime soon until a beautiful brunette showed up in her life to possibly change her plans.

Maya and Carina are happily married and starting a family. Maya is severely injured in a fire due to Captain Beckett's drinking and lack of judgment. Carina doesn't know if Maya will survive, and she never wants to let her go. She has so much to lose, but there may be so much to gain because of this fire.
