Last year was a chaotic blur of transatlantic flights, forced kisses, and realizing home isn't a place, it's a person with a very smug smirk. I'd traded my rainy London mornings for California sun and a a place at the marketing agency here. This year, I'm marrying the boy I once couldn't stand, and between balancing our careers and the absolute nightmare of guest lists, I have a feeling the real chaos is only just beginning. My chapter in LA was just starting.

This is a story I wrote to go with Thomas Rhett's song Marry Me. The video ended in a cliff hanger so I decided to write a story to go with it. It's about a boy who has a best friend that he's in love with. She always talks about getting married but falls in love with another guy. Hence the lyric "She wanna get married, but she don't wanna marry me." ---------- I tried to follow what happened in the video and everything people were saying in the comments but his best friend didn't have a name so I named her Blaykleigh (pronounced Blake-Lee).
