Mitchell's Grassi, exchange teacher for a new program a High School is trying, has always lived in order. Everything has it's place. When things are in order, more stuff gets done. Classes are done that same way, same order, every day. But, a teacher he has to work closely with many times over has a different view of how a class should be run.
Avi Kaplan has always been a laid back guy. His classes, a mess of noisy students with no respect for others. Everything he has has a place, where ever he leaves it. He dresses in casual clothes, in beanies. He thrives on disorder.
When these two work together, with so many projects, so many things that take both out of their one minded world views. When Mitch's very foundation is shook up, it is up to Avi to teach him to live disorderly.
