I really love the Selection series by Kiera Cass! I also read so much fanfics but there were always a lot of things I didn't like. so I decided to write my own one. Please read this fanfiction only if you also read the Selection series. All rights belong to Kiera Cass.

It's been a month since America was sent home. After being discovered with Aspen by Maxon, Maxon chosed Kriss as the One. His One The Next morning she was sent home with a heart broken into pieces But there's a twist in the story. Little did she know, she was carrying the heirs to throne of Illea After finding out of her pregnancy, she was ecstatic for children. Due to rebel attacks, Maxon and Kriss' wedding was canceled. Maxon surprisingly declared in public that he divorced Kriss. Three years later, the elite were invited back in the palace for a Christmas Ball Reunion. There, Maxon sees America with children. But things take a turn for the worse when Daphne is holding Maxons children. Heartbroken, America is forced to raise her kids alone. Till she meets Maxon's half brother. Just some random one shots, taking place between all of the books. I am going to randomly switch between stuff so don't read if you haven't read all the selection books (because spoilers). Lots of Maxerica but MANY other characters will make an appearance.

America doesn't win. She doesn't become Maxon's wife. Kriss wins the selection, but Maxon still loves America, and starts to cheat on Kriss.

What if Maxon chose Kriss instead of America? What if the rebels didn't attack the palace that day? And how can Maxon live his every day life while knowing he made the wrong choice?

During the Selection, America Singer never realized that she would fall in love with Prince Maxon. And from the day he first saw her, he knew she was the one. At the end of the Selection, Maxon proposes to her, thrilled that she said yes. Now, not only do they have a wedding to plan, they also have to prepare to fill their future roles as the next king and queen of Illeá.

Reading The Selection, I felt that Kriss needed her own story told. She had so much to say. She was calm, kind, and regal. As Kiera Cass stated, Maxon would have married Kriss if the massacre didn't happen. Many readers didn't like her, but she is a human and makes mistakes just like anybody else would. This is the Selection from Kriss's perspective and how she dealt with heartbreak and eventually finds her happily ever after.
