Then, in 1937, she worked with the SSR as an agent with her adopted brother Lucas. She was found out by HYDRA leader, Johann Schmidt, after freeing a scientist important to the Nazi win and put into brainwashing, or so they thought. She switched sides after encountering the 'perfect' soldier created by the man she rescued and helped the allies win the war. After that she disappeared, living only by the name Nightwing. Then in 2012, during the Battle of New York, she resurfaces and helps them fight the an alien army.
