Raoul's drinking problem landed him in jail, and now he's seperated from his last relation to Christine. Mme. Giry passed away due to cancer. Gustave misses his mother dearly, and visits her grave frequently. It turns out that Meg had a cousin, named Patricia. She always went by Pattie, but now goes by Trixie. Erik gives up his Angel, Christine, and pursues his new love interest, the long-lost Giry. Note: I don't own the characters! I do however own the plot.

As someone who loved the AWIT book I did enjoy the movie for the most part. However I feel like that Calvin's character was fairly useless and that the film producers missed a chance to make his character more interesting. The movie would be the same if he wasn't there.
